Every human endeavor contains some flaws. Every human argument is imperfect in some respects. But when it comes to sensible thinking, a four-legged chair that is missing a leg is a real problem. A greater problem is observed when the person who is pitched to the floor by that chair does not see that outcome as problematic. So it is with people who cannot see the holes in the pockets of their own opinions.
